Is there a bathroom on board?

Yes, we have an on-board Marine Head.

How far is Lanai?

Lanai is 8 miles from Lahaina Harbor, and takes approximately 30 minutes to cross the ‘Au’au Channel.

Do you always see Dolphins?

We encounter dolphins 85% of the time. They are wild animals and have their own schedule so we never know where they will be; however our very experienced Captains know their travel patterns to increase out chances.

Do you always see Whales?

Between mid December and mid April we guarantee Whale sightings or the next whale trip is free until you spot whales with us.

What kind of Whales do you see off Maui?

Our Whale Watches are geared to see Humpback Whales. We occasionally see Pilot Whales, False Killer Whales and other species, but it is a rare occurrence.

Do you provide snorkel gear and instructions?

Yes, we have modern sanitized quality snorkel masks and fins. Swim noodles are available for first time snorkelers to get started as well as for more experienced swimmers and snorkelers. Our snorkelers have ranged in age from 5 to 92. Also, we have a fresh rinse shower on our swim step for use after your snorkeling experience.

Do you have flotation devices?

Yes, we have several types of floaties including “noodles”, viewing boards and life vests.

What should I bring?

Our guests should bring a towel, sunscreen (no-spray), and long sleeve t-shirt or light jacket. Caps or visors are options if you can keep them secured. Sunglasses are useful but don’t bring your expensive ones.

Can I bring my camera?

Yes, bring a camera or GoPro to take advanage of great photo opportunities.

HOWEVER, MAC WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES TO ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICE BROUGHT ON BOARD.
We recommend that our guests with cameras, phones or other devices bring their own “dry bag” or re-sealable plastic bag for the most protection. Note – at the booth we do have a supply of small clear re-sealable plastic bags and 10 gallon white plastic bags and “Hawaiian Raincoats” (i.e. 30 gallon black trash bags for fowl weather/rainy days) for use by passengers upon their request at check-in.)
